How do I clean out the soy wax in my jar?

Soy wax is water soluble and easy to clean up. Do not dispose of wax down your sink as it WILL block your pipes!!

The best way to clean your jars is to firstly remove the waste wax at the bottom of your jar by warming the outside with hot water. Tip the wax out into a piece of kitchen roll, disposable cup or similar and dispose of in your normal household waste. The jar can then be cleaned using hot soapy water or you can put it in the dishwasher. The glue used to secure the wick to the bottom of the jar can be a little stubborn however, and may need to be scraped off.
